Visa Applications
Conference Visa Application Guide
To participate in the AfriKad Network Conference in Canada, international attendees must apply for a Temporary Resident Visa (Visitor Visa) through Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). Please review the official IRCC guidelines to understand eligibility, requirements, and the step-by-step application process.
Each visa application is assessed individually, based on the strength of the information and supporting documents provided. Please note that while a special event code has been issued for this conference, it does not guarantee or influence visa approval in any way.
Processing times vary by visa office and season. Participants are strongly encouraged to apply at least 12 weeks before their planned departure. Use the IRCC processing time tool for the most current estimates.
Applicants should prepare and submit complete supporting documentation, including a valid passport, proof of financial capacity, and any additional documents required for their specific visa category. All applications are processed in the applicant's country of residence
